Happy New Year.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: Old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.
We trust that you had a Merry Christmas and that the New Year has started off well. We had a blessed Christmas.
In 2024, we witnessed God’s wonderful work in the lives of people. A number of people gave their lives to the Lord, and one rededicated his life. Some of them were those who attend the Men’s Bible study. On January 1st, 31 people were baptized. Please pray that they will continue to grow in their faith.
Towards the end of the year, we met Beth who is a widow. She has 7 children and a grandson. She is one of those who was affected by the floods. She had collected some building materials, but they were all washed away. We thank the Lord that He has provided some funds and we are currently building a house for her family. She does not have a permanent job. Sometimes she doesn’t have work which makes it hard to feed her family and meet other needs. The Lord has been enabling us to assist her with food and clothes. They will need beds and other furniture when the house is finished. Please pray that the Lord will provide. If the Lord would put it on one’s heart to adopt this family, it would be a huge blessing to them. $100 can assist in providing food for a month. Any help would be appreciated. The feeding programs are going well. The families are encouraged by God’s Word and most of them are growing in their faith. They really appreciate the assistance of food as the cost of living is high and most of them do not have employment. Thank you soo much for your support which helps us to do what we can. Some of these families are not saved so please pray that they will see the need of accepting Jesus as their Savior.
Family: We were blessed to have our adult children, Miriam, Ruth, and Paul Jr., visit us in November. We had a wonderful time. Lord willing, we are planning to travel to the US this year from mid-March to mid-June to visit our ministry partners and our children and grandchildren. Please pray for us and especially for a car as we will need one to use for our transportation. We wish to thank you very much for your prayer and financial support. May the Lord continue to bless you.
Zita is from South Sudan. She was sponsored to attend medical school in Kenya by well-wishers. After she graduated, she has been looking for a hospital to do her internship. Life has been very hard for her as she has no funds. Last Sunday, January 5th, she came to church and we found out that she had no food, bedding, or other basic needs. Together with the women’s leadership at our church, we bought her food and shared some bedding and clothes. Please pray for her that she will get an opening soon to do her internship and that God will continue to provide for her.
