Dear Praying Partners,
We rejoice in the goodness of our Lord and Savior during this time of year. We have so much to be thankful for as we stop and reflect on Him during this Thanksgiving season. God is so good.
These past seven weeks have been extremely busy as I have been traveling Stateside with Pastor Janot N’Gbra from the country of Cote d’Ivoire. He is one of my pastors that I am personally working with in Cote d’Ivoire. He is truly a church planter and has started over 10 churches in the past 20 years of ministry. Pastor Janot is currently pastoring in Guitry and is responsible to reach over 300 villages with the Gospel in his area. He also has started a sister church 10 miles from Guitry in the village of N’gokro which is running 70 members now. This was his first visit to the U.S. and what a blessing it was for both him and our churches. God raised the needed funds to construct the church building on the land that we purchased for his church of 140 members in Guitry. We thank each of you for your part in helping meet this building need. In addition, God provided funds for a motorcycle, a sewing machine for his wife’s sewing business (this helps provide funds to support the family), and funds for their girls’ education!!! Wow, what a blessing!! Pastor Janot flies back to Cote d’Ivoire this week to meet up with family and to continue his ministries. Pray for safety in travel back to his homeland. I want to personally thank each and every one that spent time with him and cared for his individual needs. God always comes through.
In addition to our Cote d’Ivoire ministries, please keep our FMI orphan ministries in your prayers. We are continually raising $40 per month per orphan and have many that still need support. We are encouraged with the many that have chosen to support these children in need. We are instructed in God’s Word to look after the orphan children and what a blessing it is to help meet the needs of these that have no family. We are excited as churches and individual families sign up for these children each month. Your supporting one of these children for $40 a month helps meet their needs. What a blessing and opportunity. We work hard to raise these children in church and give them a Christian education that will benefit them for years to come.
Lastly, in closing, I ask that you continue to pray for the physical health of Denise. We just visited two doctors this week and the plan is for her to visit a neurologist and a vascular doctor in the coming weeks. The prayer is that they will be able to give us more answers to her struggles. She continues to struggle with her new normal but gives glory to God in all things!! Her medicines and shot treatments are a constant challenge to us financially, but God is our Provider and Healer.
In closing, we thank each of you for your partnership and your faithful prayer support for our African ministries. We are only able to accomplish all through your faithfulness in holding the ropes through prayer and your financial giving. We love each and every one of you! God is so good!!!
With Much Love,
Jim for the Arnolds
