“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:3

I thank the Lord for bringing me back home safely. I arrived in Lome on August 17th. The next day, I took a bus for 370 miles to Kara where we are serving. We had a seminar for the schoolteachers from Sunday the 18th in the afternoon to Friday the 23rd.  It was a good time, and I believe they were well-equipped and they learned new things to get ready for the academic year 2024-2025.

We had to take our daughter, Deborah, to one of the ABWE’s hospitals in Mango which is about 2.50 hr. driving one way for her knee problem. She will be going through a knee replacement surgery, but this is not done in Togo. We are looking for a specialist in this area in the States or in Ethiopia, East Africa. Please, pray for this door to be open and for the funds for this need.

I taught and preached on Sunday the 25th. We left on Tuesday the 27th for Lome for a meeting with the pastors on Saturday the 31st. We had a lot of problems with our vehicle on the way going and we had to spend the night on the road. We are thankful to the Lord that we were able to reach Lome the next day around 4pm. We spent 7 days working on it. We thank the Lord that it is on the road again and we came back safely to Kara.

The school year started last Monday, the 16th of this month. Our school was crowded with parents and children. We did not have rooms for everybody. We had to let several of the children go to search for a room in other schools. Last year we had 306 pupils. This year we have 370 already. The Muslims continue bringing their children to our school. Truly, we are in the evangelism field. Please, pray for these precious souls to come and know the Lord as their personal Savior and Lord before they graduate from the school.

We do not yet have enough funds for the church concrete buildings for Ateda and Sokode and to continue with Temple Shalom Kara. But the small amount we have received and are receiving is helping one of the churches, Ateda, and a small part of it to help Temple Shalom, too. We are hoping and praying that the Lord will provide so that we can finish all these buildings in the right time. Please, keep praying for us regarding these needs and the rest of the ministry.

The ministry is progressing by God’s grace.

Saturday the 14th in children’s Awana, activities took place in Kpalime. We praised the Lord for the people who are confessing the Lord and are getting baptized. These two baptismal ceremonies took place in Kpalime on Sunday the 8th and in Temple Shalom, Kara, on Sunday the 29th. All these people who were baptized, 6 in Kpalime and 12 in Kara, went through Bible class for months.

And I want to thank each one of you for your prayers and your financial support.
