DEAR FRIENDS,
“O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” Psalm 95:1-3
All our praises to the Lord for the wonderful and marvelous things He continues to do among us in the churches through your prayers and financial support.
The family is doing quite well. But our daughter-in-law is suffering badly from kinetic catatonia. Please, she needs our prayers.
This academic school year 2022-2023 is coming to an end within a few weeks. The teachers and the pupils are doing well, and they have done a great job. The children, among them Muslims and every kind of faith, had the opportunity to learn several Bible verses and to listen to Bible stories all these almost nine months. It is a good opportunity to share the Good News with these children who then tell their parents. One of the parents was sharing with us the other day that he was surprised that his child wanted to pray before everything. Please, continue to pray for their salvation.
The school is in great need of property. We need to build some classrooms but particularly and urgently, we need a class for grade 6. All of this needs to be done during this break time which starts next month and lasts until the first week of September 2023. Please, we need your prayers regarding these needs.
The orphans are doing well, too. As we have mentioned in one of our newsletters, some of them are registered in our school.
The Lord continues bringing souls to Himself. Right now, Temple Shalom has 12 people, among them three orphans, going through the baptismal class. This rejoices our heart, and we give great praises to the Lord. We always remember where all these children come from. They all come from idol-worshiping families. “They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?” Isaiah 44:9-10
The main church, Temple Shalom, is still in need for the continuation of the building. Please, we need your prayers for the Lord’s provision to finish the building.
In my forty years in full-time ministry, I never presented to the Lord twins. But the Lord has blessed one of my daughters who had twins a few weeks ago through cesarean section. She almost lost her life, but the Lord heard our prayers on her behalf. Last Sunday was another joyful one when these twins were presented to the Lord.
Blita’s church is a small one where 3 people were baptized last time. The Lord provided land for them during my last visit to the States in 2020. Please pray the Lord may provide for a concrete building.
Please, pray for a lady named Victorine, 52 years old, who is Pastor Bruce’s sister. Pastor Bruce pastors one of the churches in Lome, the capital city of Togo. She gave her life to the Lord recently. He is asking for prayer for another sister and his mother who still are not saved.
