Dear Partners in Ministry,
“[[A Song of degrees.]] I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2
Ministry at the Cheltenham Baptist Church continues. We praise the Lord that things are getting back to near-normal with the lifting of the many restrictions associated with the pandemic that would have negatively impacted our services and ministries. This has resulted in more persons attending services and plans to restart many of the ministries that had to be put on hold.
During the period Jan. to Mar. 2022, there have been no known professions of faith, however, a baptismal service is being planned for some new converts.
God has seen it fit to call home to glory another faithful saint. Her passing was a very tragic one. She had just left the church after choir rehearsal and was walking home when she was hit by a car. She died on the spot, just a few yards from her home.
We are still awaiting approval of the building plan for the Sunday School wing in order to begin construction. Please continue to pray that the process will be formalized and approval granted in the near future. We also crave your prayers that God will provide the necessary funds to undertake this project.
Prayer Requests:
- Spiritual and numerical growth of our ministry
- Funds to purchase a vehicle to assist with ministry
- My personal health and well-being
- Bereaved families
Blessings,
Fyrell Dennis
