Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
Hello from Nova Scotia! I remind myself to be thankful, to pray without ceasing and to always be rejoicing in the Lord, despite all circumstances as it says: “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” I DO give thanks to the Lord that our church building is open again. We praise God that we are together to hear God’s Word and to encourage one another. All of the programs are up and running. We are leaders in Awana on Wednesday, where about 30 children are coming, which is good for a new program. It is like fresh air to the soul being together with our church family!
I thank the Lord that we are meeting new people here in West Dover. Thank you for continuing to pray for us to have opportunities and boldness to share the saving message of Jesus Christ with these people that we meet. We hope that there will be an interest and hunger for spiritual things.
I thank the Lord for each one of you that you have prayed for us and supported us financially, laboring with us all of these years! It seems like yesterday when God sent my family here. I continually praise God for all He has done and for what He continues to do to use us here.
I also thank the Lord for the springtime, for His creation all around us! We had a very windy, snowy, cold winter. It was so stormy that we are waiting for an estimate to replace all of the roof shingles. We also have to replace one side of railing on our deck. We took care of the tree that blew down with no damage to anything but the clothesline which was easy to fix. We thank Him for His lovingkindness and that He lets man actually see Him by just looking around at all He has made. Psalm 107:24, 25: “These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.”
In His Service,
Ben and Elise
