Greetings to our vital prayer partners.
“But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Nor of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as do others, but let us watch and be sober,” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-6).
By God’s grace and mercy, Redeemed Baptist Family Church, continues to keep the faith. My wife and children are also doing well, and we do praise God for His promised care and love. We all send our greetings and appreciation to each of you. We do hope and pray that you are keeping the faith as well.
We praise our Lord that through your prayers and His blessing, we continue to see Christ building His Church here in Naivasha, Kenya. The Church is not only growing numerically, but spiritually as well in Christlikeness and in our service concerning Christ’s kingdom work. This past month, God added three souls to His Church, the body of Christ! We are blessed with the wonderful privilege and responsibility of discipling them for Christ.
Evangelism is a regular drive behind our kingdom work. For example, every Saturday we go out into the community sharing the gospel of Christ with the kids. God always blesses us with a good audience to serve through this ministry.
We also do street preaching and play films like the “Jesus” movie. Many will come and watch and even stay afterwards when we share the gospel.
Below are more praises that we invite you to rejoice over with us.
The Redeemed Baptist grounds, which was under water for about a year during a rare long duration flood is completely dry allowing us to utilize all our property.
For being able to reinstall a septic system for three newly built bathrooms.
We have baptized 23 souls during the last four months and several more souls have placed saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation who have not yet pursued baptism.
We have recently had a very successful Pastors’ Bible Conference which brought together more than 18 pastors, four from as far away as Uganda.
Redeemed Bible Baptist College now has 18 enrolled students. Your prayers for this ministry have not only helped in creating the present curriculum on Eschatology and students, but they are also creating an interest in the hearts of others who are considering joining us. We praise Lord for creating this thirst for His Word.
We praise the Lord for His provision concerning our family and the ministry He has called us to, opening up opportunities for us and His blessings as we follow through on them.
Please join us in praying for:
Raising some monthly income to operate the college, for example the cost of internet service $45, utilities $50, printing $50, transportation $50 and administration needs $30 per month.
Raising funds to renovate the church building, for example to replace the worn-out wall support beams of the church $500, metal sides and roofing $600 and repair for the concrete floor $800. Most of these needs have been created by the long duration of the flood.
Our youth department needs musical instruments, especially guitars $300.
We cannot thank you enough for the impact your prayers and financial support are making in our kingdom work here at Naivasha, Kenya. Together we are truly reaching the world for Christ!
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Cleophas and Rachel
