Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus through out all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20

Jambo-hello. Our hearts are full of gratitude, both to the Lord and to you, all our partners. God has been faithful in providing and protecting us during these difficult times. Due to the rise of covid,
the churches were again closed in five counties for about a month. We were happy to be able to go back on May 2nd. We still have to follow the guidelines. We are still able to visit people in their homes where we deliver food, share God’s Word, and pray. On April 25th, Leah and some ladies visited a family that is in great need of basic necessities such as food and clothes. The grandma is blind. She also has diabetes and high blood pressure. Her only child, a son, is married and has six children. He does not have a permanent job but tries to get casual jobs whenever possible. It is very hard for him to take care of his mother and his family. They are in desperate need of a house. The small mud one is falling and since it is raining, we pray and hope that it will not be washed away. Please pray that the Lord will provide funds to build them a house. It is estimated to cost about $3800. Also, please pray that the Lord will provide funds for the grandma to get medical help. Above all, the dad and some of the family members need the Lord. The dad’s name is Aaron.

Paul and his team of pastors and elders have been busy serving among the many churches that he oversees. On Sunday, when the churches were opened, they took pastors to four churches where they will be serving. They also encouraged the members. Despite the challenges, God is doing great things. People are getting saved and growing in their faith.

The feeding centers are going on well. The families are growing in their faith and are very grateful for the support, especially these days when things are hard. Some of the families go without eating lunch and save the little that they get for dinner. When the Lord provides funds, it is our heart’s desire to start a feeding center in the village where Aaron and his family live. That way, at least they can count on having some food to eat for about five days as God provides for them in other ways.

In our last letter, we shared the need for school buses to transport the kids at the church elementary school. We praise and thank the Lord for providing for two. One has been purchased and we are still looking for the second one. The Lord provided more than we could have thought or imagined. Thank you for praying and giving.

Family: We are both doing well and protected from covid. Things have been busy but the Lord gives us strength for each day. Our children and granddaughter are doing well. They are also protected. Our granddaughter celebrated her one year birthday on April first. She has started to walk. It has been nice to see her pictures, videos, and zoom but we long to see her in person and to hold her in our arms. Please pray that the Lord will make it possible for us to visit them before the end of this year.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you very much for your prayer and financial support.

Blessings.
