The Wodome Updates 4th quarter 2024

Dear Faithful Prayer Partners and Financial Supporters,

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 2 John 2

We hope you all celebrated Christmas well and transitioned also into the New year 2025.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

As we turn the page to 2025, we would like to give you an update on what happened during the last quarter of 2024.

Family News

God granted us good health during the last quarter of the year 2024 and we are so grateful and praise God for enabling us to be healthy while living and doing ministry in Togo. Samuel turned 22 in October and has finished the high school level in home school education. Now we begin preparations for him to take the GED test. Since our return, he hasn’t stopped complaining about coming back to Togo. He continues pushing to return to the States and live there. But as he is on the spectrum, we continue to pray that the Lord will help us  make the right decision for his future. Please pray for Samuel.

Joshua, Natti, and their children are doing well. It is so wonderful and lovely to talk to them often, do video chats, and, especially, to see them grow. Macaiah is the one that often requests to talk to grandpa, grandma, and uncle Samuel. One time, as the call was only audio, he complained that he wanted to see us while talking. Eli Grace has started crawling. We bless the Lord for their parents and for both of our grandchildren. They are so adorable.

This month, we will celebrate our coral wedding anniversary. We are thankful to God for keeping us together for 35 years and the more to come.

Ministry Updates

The churches are doing well. Even though some families left the church because the parents didn’t want us to discipline their children, we continue to teach and strengthen those remaining to fully understand the purpose of church discipline.

Our building project has finally come to full completion of phase 1 which is the church sanctuary. Electrical and sound system wiring were completed in November. Following that, tiles were laid on the floor. In early December, one of our pastor friends who also is a professional painter did the painting of the inside. Ceiling fans were set, and the glass windows were put just in time for Christmas and New Year celebrations.

During the last week of December, we had a revival and evangelism outreach. All the activities included early morning prayer meetings, movie night, and the preaching of the Gospel. Some souls trusted Christ as Lord and Savior.

During our visit to the church of Kove, 7 teenagers trusted in Christ. The wall that fell was also rebuilt. Thank you so much.

Since in the month of October, we visited the village of Ekpui to carry on the well project in honor of my dear friend, Pat Ray. We are now in the process of building a tower for the tank before opening it to the public.

God willing, we are planning to inaugurate the church of Tamany on March 23, 2025. Please pray that things will go well. Please continue to follow us on Facebook (the Wodomes Corner) for picture updates and more.

Dear friends and supporters, thank you so much for being a blessing to us. Your support, prayers, gifts, and encouragement are highly appreciated. We couldn’t have done it without you.
