Ephesians 2:10

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Jambo Ministry Partners. In our last letter, we had asked prayers for our pastors’ wives’ retreat and for our speaker, Sandy, from Illinois. We had a great time and were very much encouraged. Thank you for praying for us.

As many of you heard, there was a lot of flooding in most parts of the country. Lives were lost and property destroyed. About 3 miles from us, over 60 people died, and others sustained injuries. In one of the churches that Paul oversees we lost some members. It was a very sad and hard time to minister to the families that were left behind. The government, churches, and communities gave support. Two people gave their lives to the Lord. Please pray for their spiritual growth. It was a very sad day when we had the mass funerals of 13 people. There were both adults and children. The Lord has provided some funds and so now we are in the process of repairing houses and building some from scratch as they were washed away by the floods.  Please pray for these families. Paul and the elders have started a men’s Bible study at our local church. They started with 25 and last Saturday there were 65. Please pray that those who are not believers will accept Jesus as their Savior.

The feeding programs are going well, but we have not been able to go to one of them as the bridge was washed away by the floods. Please pray that it will be built soon, Lord willing.  We have been raising funds to help students go to school. Four girls graduated last year from high school, four are graduating this December, and one is graduating July 5th from Bible college. Please pray that the Lord will continue providing for the remaining two who will graduate next year, Lord willing. Tabitha is a mother of five children who were in great need of food, a better house, clothes, and education.  God has provided them with a new house and is providing the other needs. That is a praise as even their health is improving.

Family: Our adult children and grandchildren are doing well. Our granddaughter, Aziza, is four years old and our grandson, Zefania, just celebrated his first birthday. We thank the Lord for protecting them stateside and us here. Please pray for us now as our country is going through a difficult time with demonstrations that have turned out to be violent.  There has been loss of life and property. Please pray for God’s intervention.

Thank you very much for your continued support.  May the Lord bless you.
