This summer the Lord allowed for us to be in Texas for a month. I covered over for our pastor in Mcallen as they were on vacation and then we were able to visit our church in Victoria. And, able to be there for the birth of our second granddaughter, Helen Sabine.

This month I will be flying to Texas and then taking a bus into Mexico where I will preach for 7 nights strait, in two different churches. One is a dedication and Anniversary. The second are Revival meetings. Then I will get back on the Bus to the Border where I will have part in the ordination of one of our graduates and preach there on Sunday.

While I am away my mom and Ginger will arrive and be here for a month where they will be sharing a message to the ladies in our church and another church in the area. We pray God will use these meetings in reaching out to our lady’s co-workers, and families that will not come to church but maybe will come to a ladies get together.

Also, it is a joy to see our family grow as they serve the Lord in their places, He has set for them.

Timothy and Yessica are serving the Lord in their local church in Texas. God has given them two precious little girls, Lyanna and Helen, that of course, us as grandparents miss, but enjoy every moment we can with them. Timothy helps in leading the services and Yessica helps in the nursery. It is a joy to see them grow in the Lord and use what God has given them to serve Him.

Melissa and Jacob are serving in their church in Huntersville, NC Jacob is the assistant pastor and looking and praying about doing his master’s degree in the upcoming months. Melissa is also a schoolteacher at Mathews Christian Academy in Mathews, NC.

Natanael is back to Bob Jones for his junior year. We can see growth in him and the joy of serving. He able to go to church with Melissa where he will be helping with the sound system and service recordings.
