Dear Financial and Prayer Partner:

Psalm 63:5 “My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips.”

Beverly and I had the joy of celebrating our forty-eighth (48) anniversary on the 8th day of August 2022.  One of our adopted daughters treated the family to dinner.

Praise God for working in the lives of the believers.  On Sunday, August 7, 2022, my wife, daughter, adopted daughter, and myself, along with the new pastor and his wife, had the joy of handing out cash to fourteen (14) students for back to school.  In addition, at least forty (40) children received books, folder leaves, pens, and pencils.  My wife is the coordinator for the project.  Praise God for the sponsors which included the family and I.  Back to school gifts were handed out also to children at Rockcliffe Baptist Church.

Also, on another note of praise, Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) was held at Sellington where the Word was given, and the children had fun.  The children got refreshments daily, love gifts, and a treat on the last day sponsored by the Sunday School department and members of the church.

Giving thanks to the Lord for improvement of health.

 

Prayer Requests:

  1. The elderly gentleman in the community of Sellington who accepted the Lord on the 9th of June has passed away. Please keep his family in prayer.
  2. Children to attend Sunday School regularly
  3. For three individuals who want to be accepted as members of Sellington Baptist Church
  4. Continued improvement of health.
