Dear IGM Family,
Receive many greetings from me and from the ministry. How are you doing? Here we are doing well, serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
We thank God for your prayers and financial support towards the work here in Uganda.
We thank God for the opening of our college.
The teachers attended from Tororo, about 80 kms, and one pastor from Lukalesi Baptist Church, a distance of 220 kms. All of them stayed at the college waiting for class. Things went well and we closed it well. Thank you for your prayers. We praise God for your prayers. The next class will be in September because in August we shall have the women’s conference in the Tororo region.
I went to the Sebei region to Lukalesi Baptist Church to purchase an extension of church land in order to build there the latrine and the kitchen for the church to use. It was successful.
I returned to the Sebei region to put up a signpost to the church site which will be helpful to give directions to whoever will be willing to go to Lukalesi Baptist Church. I finished eight hours on the way, but God gave me strength to pass through the challenge of much water on the road.
Also, I need to take some seats for them, because the church is increasing all the time with new members. We have managed to buy twenty-five plastic seats. We thank God for your prayers and financial support, especially for Pastor Russ Alexander and Mama Joyce. May God bless them more abundantly.
Regarding our orphans, they are very happy for the education they received. School is closed now but will reopen next month. We ask for your prayers and financial support for the coming term.
After returning from Lukalesi Baptist Church, I went for an outreach program with the PA system. It went well.
Then we shall be working on the college kitchen so that by September, as we open up, the Bible college students will see that we have roofed the kitchen.
Continue to pray for women’s conference which is going to be at Tororo this month and for the leaders’ conference which will be at Trinity Bible Baptist Church in October and for the youth conference which will be at Munamba church with John Wesonga.
Four people have given their lives to Christ recently in our church services.
Thank you for your prayers.
Yours Faithfully,
Paul and Irene Syaiti
