We are thankful to our Father in heaven for the harvest of souls. We in our ministries baptized 14 young people out 17 candidates on April 17, 2022, right after our sunrise service.
We thank the Lord that Julie and I were able to travel to Bohol Island with our two daughters, Jither and Jotham, visiting to one of our churches we planted May 9 to 12. There, I officiated the 25th wedding anniversary of the church pastor who took over after I left Jagna in 1993. I was also the officiating minister for their wedding 25 years earlier.
During that visit, we also met the believers we discipled before, glad to know that they are still pursuing reaching other people for Christ and making disciples resulting in churches being planted. Praise be the Name of the Lord.
We also thank the Lord for the success of the two-day retreat for which Julie handled the events. This retreat ministered to the women in our church here in Mandaue. It was a fruitful event and as a result, women in the church committed themselves to continue ministering to other women, to present the Gospel, and to make disciples. Others committed themselves to Christ.
We thank the Lord that we were able to reach the end of the school year 2021-2022. We had an online, virtual closing and graduation program on Monday, June 27 in spite of financial hardship because of a huge drop in enrollment this school year. The Lord made us survive as we know that there are teachers awaiting their monthly salaries, and high monthly electric bills in our school.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for our health. We need at least US $150.00 for medical maintenance.
- Please pray for more funds so that we can meet the government requirements for the new normal (limited face-to-face classes) for the school year 2022-2023. This requires us to remodel the classrooms. We need at least US $1000.00 for the renovations.
