My faith has found a resting place, Not in device or creed; I trust the ever-living One, His wounds for me shall plead.
Enough for me that Jesus saves, This ends my fear and doubt; A sinful soul I came to Him, He’ll never cast me out.
My heart is leaning on the Word, The living Word of God, Salvation by my Savior’s name, Salvation through His blood.
My great physician heals the sick, The lost He came to save; For me His precious blood He shed, For me His life He gave.
I need no other argument, I need no other plea, It is enough that Jesus died, And that He died for me.

This particular hymn gives the summary of the excitement we encountered during the time that we were in Bungoma. The students were on fire, so to speak. It was a week of sitting and listening to the students present their Biblical messages. We truly and most sincerely thank and praise God for their choice of Scriptures. There was a lot of variety in their messages which were wonderfully delivered. Well, as the saying goes, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating.” We simply had a humbling experience and pray that would be their manner and that they will remain faithful.
We have decided to bring a video journalist with us next month so that they can professionally create a video that we will share with you. In short, the effort, sacrifice, and love you have given is NOT WASTED. God’s blessings in the work are being manifested right before our own eyes.
In fact, I can now understand why we have always received much resistance from the evil one. It is funny that our car broke down twice again on our way to Bungoma. God has been extremely gracious and very faithful in the sense that both times we found very understanding mechanics who attended to the car with much love and care.
To God be the glory and indeed TOGETHER, we are REACHING THE WORLD FOR CHRIST!! We continue to pray and look forward to your prayers and kind support.
Yours Faithfully in Christ’s Service,
Pastor Allan Maina
