Dear Partners in Christ,

In July 2021 I wrote and informed you that through vaccine, a partial locking down of the country and mercies of God, there was a reduction of COVID-19 positivity cases in Jamaica.

The government was encouraged by that and relaxed restrictive measures despite the cries of many groups not to do so. It resulted in a rapid spike of the disease, death, hospitalization and shortage of oxygen in several hospitals. The government had to return to its tight measure approach of partial lock-down and encouraging citizens to observe the COVID-19 protocols.

At the moment, COVID-19 positivity cases have trended down considerably.

Sunday Morning Service

In an address to the nation, there were three days of no-movement per week during the months

of August and September 2021for the people of the country. We were also encouraged to continue to observe the protocols of COVID-19.

Regarding Sunday morning church service, fifty persons are allowed to attend. Churches can utilize social media for mid-week services.

Addition to the Membership of Grace Baptist Church

An elderly man, who has attended our church several times, surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He was baptized on October 30, 2021and became a member of the church (see photo).

The Preaching and Teaching Ministry of Grace Baptist Church

This have been made possible through our Sunday morning services, our online Wednesday night Bible Studies and our Friday night Youth Fellowship. The COVID-19 disease outbreak has not hindered these ministries. Praise the Lord.

Praises:

  • To God for protecting a number of us from the COVID-19 disease.
  • To God for the privilege of serving him.

Prayer Requests:

  • For the salvation of the lost, the restoration of backsliders and the growth of the saints.
  • For a number of homes and families who are experiencing grief over the loss of loved ones.
  • For funds to work on our building project.

Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and financial support.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Gal. 6:9

Yours in Christ,
