Dear Ministry Partners,
With tears and hugs, the joy was shared,
As the Holy Spirit had not spared,
His marvelous work through the Word,
And by His children it was heard.
This year’s community Bible study was the most precious that we have ever experienced. To watch the Holy Spirit open the minds and hearts of people just gives Ruth and me goose bumps. Our group was widely diverse in religious backgrounds. Early on, a question was raised concerning God’s love, discipline, and our acceptance by Him. What a joy it has been to share that we are all broken people and a loving God made provision for us through the death of His Son on the Cross. Once we are saved, nothing can separate us from His love! God’s discipline is restorative not punitive. There were many hugs and tears at the end of the season.
I was told that as many as 800 churches may close this year. As many as 25% of the people are not coming back after covid. Churches are struggling. Please pray for our nation and our Gospel-preaching churches. This also affects our ministry. It is built to help these churches. In our part of Florida, there is a possibility that 7 churches will close this year. We desire to help these pastors and churches. Our first preaching opportunity was the 23rd of May. Please pray for more opportunities to help these pastors and churches.
Praise the Lord that Ruth’s pancreas issue is resolved without surgery. Her shoulder surgery was scheduled for yesterday. Please pray for her.
We are so grateful for our prayer and financial supporters, without which this ministry could not function. You are more needed now than ever.
“The LORD bless you and keep you;
25 The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
