Dear Prayer Partners/Sponsors,

Shalom! May the peace of God be with you. I trust that this mail finds you well. Greetings from Kenya in Jesus’ Name. Hope and trust that you are all well in Him. Over here, we are under God’s care regardless of the ups and downs of this world.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and glorify our Almighty God for His ever-loving kindness to us in all areas. The same goes to you, brethren, thank you very much for your endless love and care for us as you have continued praying for us and supporting us financially. May God bless you dearly in whatever you do.

It has been a year since the pandemic entered our country. Things came to a standstill in every corner of life. We were all affected in one way or another. I mean, really affected…we became more aware that, indeed, our lives are just a vapor, like the wind… we are here this moment and gone the next. We cannot boast about tomorrow. Nobody knows tomorrow. As the Lord wills, we shall do this or that. Our lives are in God’s hands. We are His and He is ours. God is sovereign over us. (2 Samuel 7:22)

However, though things were on and off here and there, God proved that He cannot be stopped by anything from doing what He has purposed to do. We thank God because with all those hinderances, still the Gospel was preached in various places and people got saved, baptized, and discipled.  Our God is an able God.

When the churches were given the opportunity of gathering in church buildings, though in a limited number, God made it possible to do at least a good number of seminars for believers in different churches and to even conduct youth camps. Also, travelling was a bit possible, so we were able to visit various churches, teaching and preaching the Gospel. This made it possible to evangelize in new areas and eventually plant a new church.

However, personally and family-wise, we had a setback because of the sickness of Duncan, our last born, due to his kidney failure issue for which you have been praying and giving for his transplant. Regardless of this situation, God has been faithful to us (family) and we have moved on with life and ministry as God has been enabling us. Now, I’m somehow burdened in my mind because of my son’s medical preparation for the transplant and the ministry plans which I had laid down for the year 2021. However, as I serve an Almighty God Who knows all that is going on, I believe and trust that He shall see me through this difficult season.

Brethren, we need your prayers very much because our country is in the so-called third wave of the coronavirus pandemic and some parts of the country have been put into lockdown. This is now affecting the country once again, causing economical, spiritual, and social hardships because some businesses, travel to certain parts of the country, and church gatherings for worship have been prohibited.

Touching on my son’s treatment, I want to thank you very much for your loving and generous giving towards the same. Surely God is always good and kind to His children. God provided the needed amount and glory be to Him for His provision. By now, Duncan is undergoing the matching tests with the donor and we are hopeful that in April, the transplant may be done. So, once again, I say thank you, my dear beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord, for everything you have and are yet doing for my son’s health.

In closing, I beseech all of us to prioritize God and His Kingdom and all the other things shall be done for us as Matthew 6:25-34 tell us.

If we remember Who is in control, how much He loves us and is committed to us and our future, we can choose not to worry! He is taking care of everything. We choose to believe Him. Let not your heart be troubled… John 16:33

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19. God is with us during these times, doing a great work! Be encouraged.
