Dear Praying Friends and Supporters,
“The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me besides the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalm 23
My dad was recently discharged from the hospital after almost 4 weeks of admission with a swollen leg. He is diabetic and the MRI showed blood clots. Two days after being released he fell on the floor and now getting prepared for surgery with a broken hip. Being almost in his mid 80’s, he’s reported to be in severe pains and has difficulty breathing. His pain is so severe that he’s unable to eat or breath well, and so is on IV and ventilator. The doctor said the pain must be manageable before surgery can be done.
He is currently discouraged with his health deteriorating as he’s a Catholic and not a believer. Because of his broken hip, he has to use pampers and with a nurse changing his diapers, it’s even causing more discomfort and discouraging. He is on admission at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. Please, kindly lift him up before the throne of grace! Many missionary friends of mine have witnessed to both parents on several occasions and I have personally giving invitations when I spoke during funeral celebration which they attended but they still believe the Pope is the only righteous person on earth and the Roman Catholic Church is the only “true” church.
Thank you all for praying.
Still praising the Lord,
