Dear Praying Friends and Partners,

“Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the the Chaldeans”. Daniel 1:4.

^Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.” Daniel 2:17-19

The Daniel story makes interesting observations about Corvid-19 and “Science as the solution” to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Even though science play a major role Daniel and his Jewish friends solved issues through prayers. We’re now at a time when prayers should be intensified for God to give an answer to solving the Coronavirus pandemic. Too many times, the focus is on the Chinese as the cause. Much as it started from Wuhan we must be mindful of who actually is in charge of the universe. We have to obey God’s word and call on His name for the solution to this challenge. As believers we can always take comfort in every Word of God- Mathew 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3. In other words man shall not live by science alone but by God’s Word! Today, more credit is given to science than the Word of God

I want to first apologize for not sending a thank you letter earlier for all those who prayed and contributed to the container debt and those who send support to help our ministries in Ghana. During the fall about 98% of all the support raised speaking in churches went into payment of the debt. As at now, I’m pleased to say that I have less than $1,000 to complete payment and would appreciate additional contributions to finalize the payment. May God continue to bless each of you.

Christian Ministry all over the world seems to be classified as “non essential” by governments. Alchoholic bars and abortion clinics are deemed “essential”, sad to say. Where is God in this equation? We fear the Coronavirus killing us than God’s Word. We’re being asked to obey science than obeying God’s Word. We’re being told to follow scientific data and solutions of wearing face masks, social distancing, washing hands often with soap and sanitizer as well as quarantine if we come into contact with a person infected with the virus. We’re not being told to practice Joshua 1:8 or 1 Chronicles 7:14.

Adom Baptist Church

Before the lockdown the church was doing well. 3 people were baptized and there was 15 profession of faith. Sunday school and church attendance increased. Currently, services are online and very few people have access to cell phones and very very few have a cell phone with internet service. Social distancing is preventing members who have internet or wifi to help those who don’t have any. In the middle of all these, 13 people so far have professed Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Adom Baptist Fellowship is in an area where internet and wifi don’t work very well. However, so far there’s been 15 profession of faith but no baptism yet.

Emmanuel Baptist Church is currently struggling with a place of worship. There’s been one baptism this year and 6 profession of faith.

Street children/Orphans has also been suspended and challenges have mounted. Food is still being provided with social distancing enforced. Because of the numbers we’re not able to share the word as we usually do

Blind Ministries has seen a very low participation. Our plans to have a Camp during the Easter Camp for the Blind was canceled. Instead, food was sent to a few people who were not too far from the camp area. Before the lockdown, 89 blind children had professed Christ as Savior.

Deaf Ministries recorded 113 profession of faith during the Christmas Camp from December 20-30, 2019.

School Ministries has seen a lot of enthusiasm with memory verses being emphasized. 1,900 school children has professed Christ.

AWANA excitement has diminished considerably in recent times because of the lack of AWANA uniforms and handbooks. Thankfully, we had a 89 profession of faith.

Five preaching points have so far been reached for future church planting. Crusades were held and a total 226 profession of faith.

My adopted children are doing well by God’s grace.

We’re going to complete the last teaching and graduation if the Lord opens a door. Rev, Bill Lambert a product of Dallas Theological Seminary is waiting for the green light to come and be the main speaker as soon as the way is cleared.

Radio Bible Teaching is yet to resume on full scale as financial challenges rear its ugly head.

Widows Jar (USA) partnership has seen them donate several new clothes and other items for school children to be shipped for Ghana

Currently, funds to pay Pastors, Staffs, Volunteers, rents, food, medications, are in dire need. Even though schools are closed, students and all coming home has destroyed budgets and living expenses gone up. Food items have been subjected to price gouging as well as essential materials.

Our country is grateful for the full lead air plane donations of PPE’s by the United States government in April to Ghana. Once again I want to thank all of you have been supporting our ministries financially and prayerfully.
