Hello friends! We wanted to give you an update because a number of people have wanted to know how the Covid 19 virus is affecting the Grenada ministry and us personally.
Ministry – As you all know, when we are in America, we drive to many states, to speak in churches, sharing the Grenada ministry. As of March 19, 100% of all travel and invitations to speak in churches have temporarily stopped. At the present time, we are still doing the Grenada ministry from home. We can easily communicate with the pastors in Grenada, and we are currently ready to move forward with the new church building for Pastor Thomas. We are waiting on the Grenada government permit approvals. Thank the Lord, all the money that was requested has been raised! We are so excited to see this project taking root and moving forward! Here at home, we are keeping very busy in the office. Because we normally spend a lot of time on the road, there is always paperwork to catch up on. We are waiting to hear when we will have clearance to travel and speak again. Kerry has also been in regular communication with the airlines about the huge amount of tickets that need to be booked for the Grenada summer trips. The airline personnel say things are changing by the hour, but to keep working toward the plans to fly to Grenada in July. They also say that if the airlines decides to cancel, for any reason, all the team members will get a 100% refund for their tickets. We are trusting the Lord that the summer trips will take place as planned. We appreciate your prayers on this!
Kerry & Terri – We are doing all right for now. We have a good 3 weeks supply of necessities, food & water. Craziness is still going on at the stores here in Pekin, with so many shelves empty of necessary products. Thankfully, our home is paid for and our trusty 16 year old van is still running! We still have the same expenses as others do: tithes, offerings, Faith Promise, maintenance, utilities, taxes, groceries & insurance. We are totally depending upon the Lord and His people for their faithful prayers and support as we move forward. Every month we are not on the road reduces our cash flow, because there are no love offerings from the churches when we can’t do our presentation. The good news is, God always takes care of us! We don’t want to say we never had a bill we couldn’t pay. We do want to say that we never had a bill that didn’t get paid! We must continue to trust God with whatever trials we are going through. This virus will pass and the day will come when everyone will be able to get back to work and resume their normal lives.
II Corinthians 12: 9 says, “And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Please continue to pray for this world, this country, and for the U.S. and Grenada pastors. We know God is in control of all things. We also thank you for your continued prayer and financial support for us and for your respective churches.
Serving our Lord with joy unspeakable, Kerry & Terri Psinas, IGM Missionaries to Grenada
