Hello prayer warriors! Nineteen years ago this month we were approved as full time missionaries with International Gospel Missions. Wow! Where do these years go? We are so blessed to be serving the pastors in Grenada!
The Lord blessed this year’s winter soul winning/evangelism efforts! There were 13 new souls added into the Kingdom! Thank You, Lord! Thousands of Gospel tracts were handed out and we had a full week of night crusade meetings on the street. We had some precious times with our pastors and their families. It was a busy and rewarding trip.
The Lord is now allowing us to take on a new project. Pastor Casimir Thomas has a desire to build a church in his own front yard! We have been searching for land for this church for many, many years. It is very difficult to purchase land because families want to pass it on to the next generation. Multiple land owner siblings do not always agree on the terms of sale, so many times this has made negotiations impossible. Because of several past failed negotiations, Pastor Thomas has decided to build the church on the available land his home now sits on. The building Pastor Thomas was renting for his church was in very bad condition and has become unsafe to use anymore. He has moved the congregation to a community center until the new church can be built. This will be the third church the Lord has allowed us to be involved with the building of these past 19 years. The other two churches are still in operation, with pastors and are debt free! Praise the Lord!
We needed to raise $12,900 for this church project, but a precious individual in Pennsylvania has already donated $1,000 seed money in memory of his wife. That leaves only $11,900 left to raise! Would you please pray about helping us to build this church for this dear pastor? He, his wife and their children built their home several years ago, because of funds supplied by team members. It is truly our heart’s desire to see this beloved pastor finally have his own church building! Thank you for any financial help God leads you to give!
