“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Eph. 2:10
Jambo — hello to you all or faithful partners. We pray and trust that you are fine in the Lord. Our family is doing well.
The Lord has been good to us especially during this time of transition. We are settling in the new church and we are witnessing God’s grace and faithfulness. Paul meets with the elders for Bible study every other Tuesday night and the other Tuesdays is home visitation. On Thursday nights is men’s Bible study at church and Leah meets with the ladies for Bible study in one of the small groups. We are preparing to do some renovations on the roof and floor of the church and to build some offices. We praise the Lord that He has provided for the roof but need funds for the floor and the offices. Please pray that the Lord will provide.
Praise the Lord for the salvation of Jillo, a lady from one of the tribes from northen Kenya who are being reached with the Gospel. She came to bring her baby to our local hospital and after fellowshipping with us for two Sundays, she said she wanted to receive Jesus as her Savior. Please pray for her growth.
Lord willing, on August 9th, we will start a feeding center at this church for 15 families. Please pray that they will hear from the Lord as we share the Word with them. The four other feeding centers are doing well. Many of the people are growing in their faith. They are always very grateful for the food and God’s Word. Thank you for your partnership.
New Ministry: Adopting a Family or a Student
This is making a great difference in the lives of our people. Some of the students come from families who are not able to pay all or some of the school fees, especially in high school. $500 per year can help a student get an education that will give them hope and a future. Some of the families are in need of food and $25 can feed a family of four for about 5 days. The feeding program is once a month which is a huge blessing but some of the families still struggle to find food, especially when they cannot find a job. If you feel the Lord leading you to help in any way, please let us know and we will be happy to give you the opportunity to serve.
We praise the Lord for providing 100 Bibles for an elementary school and 56 for our Good News club. Please pray that God will use His Word to change the lives of these children.
We do appreciate all your prayer and financial support.
May the Lord bless you.
Serving Together,
Paul and Leah
